Advancement Committee to Meet at University of Maryland, Baltimore November 8

The Committee on Advancement of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet in public session on Wednesday, November 8 at 9:30 a.m. in the 5th floor of the Health Sciences Library on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The library is located at the intersection of Lombard and Greene streets in Baltimore.

The Committee will review several agenda items, including:

• Economic development initiatives, presented by USM Chancellor Donald N.Langenberg.
  
• Reports on fundraising progress, investment results, major gifts, and other campaign-related items.
  
• Reports from the state and federal relations offices.
  
• Presentation of a final USM Office communications plan designed to support the Systemwide strategic plan for higher education.
  
• Analysis of USM institutions' rankings from the latest U.S. News survey.

Full agenda and background information will be available at the meeting.
