Chairman and founder of Nevins & Associates, a Hunt Valley marketing and public relations firm, founded in 1984. Former positions include: President of Comcast SportsNet, a regional sports network; Chairman of Maryland Public Television; Chair, Maryland Higher Education Loan Corporation; President of the Jewish National Fund. During his career, he served as marketing director for both the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Towson University. Currently, on the board of numerous civic and charitable organizations including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Maryland Medical System. A 1975 graduate of Towson University and holder of a master's degree in higher education administration from The Johns Hopkins University.
